Saxophone repairman Matt Stohrer of https://www.StohrerMusic.com gives a quick rundown on a relatively rarely seen variant of the saxophone, the soprano in the key of C. This particular example is made by Conn, and itself is perhaps one-of-a-kind due to its engraving.

In addition to Conns, the other model of C soprano you might most often see for sale is Buescher, which is (similarly to the Conn) often not the most finely crafted of instruments, although they sometimes go up to high F which I have not seen on a Conn. Still though, C sopranos are super neat! And sometimes come up for sale with the original mouthpiece, which you most likely would want.
