Isaiah used to speak Chinese, or that’s what his immigrant parents have told him. Born and raised in New Zealand, Isaiah cannot recall ever speaking Chinese. Now at the age of 26, Isaiah revisits how being English speaking has affected his and his friends’ relationship with their families.
