So we have dabbled in some Cash on the channel before but never really took the jump. I love "Folsom" (it was the one song i knew by him lol) and this felt like it was in the the same vein almost. He is a master storyteller and just totally sells this entire song on charisma alone (let alone his voice and storytelling ability) but the words from SHEL SILVERSTIEN the damn Giving Tree author... were amazing. I can relate to this song in ways I can't really explain. Thank you to our patron John G for this amazing selection.
