Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit system serving the Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Maharashtra.
Presently, it consists of one operational line 11.4 km in length (Line 1 Blue - Versova to Ghatkopar) opened in 2014. Additionally, there are 7 lines under-construction scheduled to be completed by 2024. After which, it will become India's Second Largest Metro Network following Delhi Metro.
