Set along Upper Lake, Van Vihar National Park is home to grassy meadows, wetlands, and bamboo plants, along with tigers and spotted deer. Leopards and hyenas are highlights of the zoo, while a rescue centre focuses on sloth bears. There’s also a vulture conservation breeding centre, a butterfly park, and an area exhibiting tortoises, plus a museum shop, and a handful of food stalls and eateries.
