201 Dome Mosque is a mosque located in Gopalpur Upazila of Tangail.

👉The minarets of 201 Dome Mosque are 451 feet high.
About 20,000 worshipers can pray together in this 144-foot-long and 144-foot-wide two-story mosque. A large dome of 81 feet height has been built in the middle of the roof of this mosque. All around there are 200 domes of 17 feet height, which are already decorated with various precious stones. There are four minarets of 101 feet height at the four corners of the main mosque. Besides, four more minarets of 81 feet height have been constructed.

👉50 maunds of brass have been used in the construction of the main door of the mosque. A separate room has been made in the highest minaret of the mosque for giving Azan.


👉 How to go👉
Gopalpur can be reached by bus from Gabtali, Mirpur, Mahakhali and Syedabad bus terminals. There are auto rickshaws from Gopalpur to 201 Dome Mosque. Express buses leave from Mohakhali bus stand in Dhaka. Gopalpur whose fare is 150-200 taka. You can take fast bus from any point of Dhaka Tangail highway.

Besides, if you want to go by AC bus, you can go by Dhanbari Gami AC bus from Kalyanpur. In that case you have to drop down at Ghatail Cantonment. Then you can go to Gopalpur by CNG or directly to 201 Dome Mosque.

👉Where will you stay?

One can go from Dhaka to Tangail during the day and return during the night. However, apart from Elenga and Yamuna Resort, there are several residential hotels of different quality if you want to stay overnight.

২০১ গম্বুজ মসজিদ (201 Dome Mosque) যা টাঙ্গাইলের গোপালপুর উপজেলায় অবস্থিত একটি মসজিদ।

👉২০১ গম্বুজ মসজিদের মিনারগুলো ৪৫১ ফুট উচ্চতার।
১৪৪ ফুট দৈর্ঘ্য ও ১৪৪ ফুট প্রস্থের দ্বিতল এই মসজিদে একসঙ্গে প্রায় ২০ হাজার মুসল্লি নামাজ আদায় করতে পারবেন। এই মসজিদের ছাদের মাঝখানে তৈরি করা হয়েছে ৮১ ফুট উচ্চতার একটি বড় গম্বুজ। চারদিকে আছে ১৭ ফুট উচ্চতার ২০০টি গম্বুজ, যেগুলো এরই মধ্যে বিভিন্ন দামি পাথরে অলংকৃত করা হয়েছে। মূল মসজিদের চার কোনায় আছে ১০১ ফুট উচ্চতার চারটি মিনার। পাশাপাশি ৮১ ফুট উচ্চতার আরো চারটি মিনার তৈরি করা হয়েছে। 

👉মসজিদের প্রধান দরজা নির্মাণে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে ৫০ মণ পিতল। আজান দেওয়ার জন্য মসজিদের সবচেয়ে উঁচু মিনারে বানানো হয়েছে আলাদা রুম।


👉কিভাবে যাবেন 👉
গাবতলী, মিরপুর, মহাখালি এবং সায়েদাবাদ বাস টার্মিনাল থেকে বাসে করে গোপালপুর পর্যন্ত যাওয়া যায়। গোপালপুর থেকে ২০১ গম্বুজ মসজিদে যাওয়ার অটোরিকশা রয়েছে। ঢাকার মহাখালি বাসস্ট্যান্ড থেকে দ্রুতগামী বাস ছাড়ে। গোপালপুর পর্যন্ত যার ভাড়া ১৫০-২০০ টাকা। ঢাকা টাঙ্গাইল মহাসড়কের যে কোন স্থান থেকে দ্রুতগামী বাসে উঠতে পারবেন।

এছাড়া এসি বাসে যেতে চাইলে কল্যানপুর থেকে ধনবাড়ি গামি এসি বাসে যেতে পারেন। সেক্ষেত্রে আপনাকে ঘাটাইল ক্যান্টোনম্যান্ট নেমে পড়তে হবে। এরপর সিএনজি করে গোপালপুর কিংবা সরাসরি ২০১ গম্বুজ মসজিদ যেতে পারেন।

👉কোথায় থাকবেন

ঢাকা হতে টাঙ্গাইল দিনে গিয়ে রাতের মধ্যে ফিরে আসা যায়। তবে রাত্রিযাপন করতে চাইলে এলেঙ্গা এবং যমুনা রিসোর্ট ছাড়াও বিভিন্ন মানের বেশ কয়েকটি আবাসিক হোটেল রয়েছে।
