In December 1978 the PAVN launch a massive attack into Democratic Kampuchea with objective to Remove the Criminal Khmer Rouge from the Power the Khmer Rouge aligned the country politically with the People's Republic of China and adopted an anti-Soviet / Vietnamese line.
