It's early November in 2022 in the Methow Valley and a surprise snow storm has jumpstarted our ski season. Enough snow fell from November 5th to the 7th, that I could ski tour from home - a pretty sweet 20 degree morning with at least two feet of snow covering the bitterbrush and most of the tall grasses on our mountainsides.
