This is the first video of my last "summer" vacations in the Pyrenees.
In this part of the trip, we would go to the Catalan Pyrnees. We would sleep at the Parador de Arties. From there, we wanted to make some excursions to the beautiful villages and lakes in the area. Some really beautiful natural reflections awaited us.
We had looked up how to get to Estany de Sant Maurici in the National Park of Aigüestortes. After lunch, we continued climbing until we reached the Estany de Ratera. There we would see one of the most spectacular natural reflections I have ever seen.
The next day, we wanted to go see the Caballers Reservoir, with a huge dam with breathtaking views of the Boí Valley.
The day after, we would leave for our next stop, already in the Aragonese Pyrenees, a trip full of exceptional landscapes!

Regarding the gastronomic part of the trip, we had a good list of gluten-free restaurants to try. We had selected several gluten-free restaurants in Artíes, some gluten-free restaurants in Vielha and a gluten-free restaurant in Boí. We ate wonderfully! What we didn't count on was that we would arrive there during their vacations between summer and winter. Not all the restaurants were open - lucky that it is possible to eat gluten-free at Paradores!
