Today, we are going to Brussels, Belgium.

Brussels is known as a city of gastronomy and has a wide variety of gourmet foods.
Since we will be staying only one night, we did our homework well in advance so that we could fully enjoy our stay.
I was able to enjoy morning breakfast, lunch, and evening drinks!

We were traveling without having breakfast,
After arriving in Brussels, we immediately started to eat.
We decided to eat waffles, a Belgian specialty.
We headed for "Maison Dandois," a long-established pastry shop that opened in 1892.
I managed to order one despite some agony over my unfamiliar English (lol), and was able to enjoy a gorgeous waffle in the morning.
The dough was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and although it was large, it was light and easy to finish.
After enjoying shopping at the flea market, we had a long-awaited lunch!

The restaurant's waitress recommended a bucket full of mussels steamed in white wine, fritz, and conger eel? The waitress recommended conger eel with herbs.
It was a very satisfying lunch!
