Transport yourself back centuries with this tour to the heart of the old City Medina of Marrakech.
Families have lived & worked here for hundreds of years in the same alleyways that exist today - the only giveaway might be the shops selling football shirts!!

This tour should give you a flavour of the sights and sounds to expect when you decide to visit & if you have already been it should bring back some magical memories.

We start the tour at Souk Des Epices in the south of the Medina and then we slowly make our way through one of the narrow alleyways which lead to Jamaa el Fna - we then weave in & out of some of the routes that branch out from the main square to give you some perspective of many possible paths you can take & the variety of goods & trades that are on display.

You will get lost that's part of the adventure but always keep to hand either a paper map or download and app called maps.me which once you have downloaded the map of Marrakech you can use online to navigate.

I do at one point walk past Mechoui Alley which is renowned for slow cooked lamb & tangia but unfortunately extensive renovations were taking place.

انقل نفسك إلى قرون إلى الوراء مع هذه الجولة إلى قلب المدينة القديمة بمراكش.
لقد عاشت العائلات وعملت هنا لمئات السنين في نفس الأزقة الموجودة اليوم - قد تكون الهبة الوحيدة هي المتاجر التي تبيع قمصان كرة القدم !!

يجب أن تمنحك هذه الجولة نكهة للمشاهد والأصوات التي تتوقعها عندما تقرر الزيارة وإذا كنت قد زرت بالفعل ، فيجب أن تعيد بعض الذكريات السحرية.

نبدأ الجولة في Souk Des Epices في جنوب المدينة ثم نشق طريقنا ببطء عبر أحد الأزقة الضيقة التي تؤدي إلى جامع الفنا - ثم ننسج داخل وخارج بعض الطرق التي تتفرع من المربع الرئيسي لإعطائك منظورًا للعديد من المسارات الممكنة التي يمكنك اتخاذها ومجموعة متنوعة من السلع والحرف المعروضة.

سوف تضيع هذا جزء من المغامرة ولكن عليك دائمًا تسليم إما خريطة ورقية أو تنزيل وتطبيق يسمى maps.me والذي بمجرد تنزيل خريطة مراكش يمكنك استخدامه عبر الإنترنت للتنقل.

أمشي في إحدى المرات مروراً بزقاق مشوي الذي يشتهر بلحم الضأن المطبوخ البطيء والتانغيا ولكن للأسف كانت تجري تجديدات واسعة النطاق.
