In January 2017 Gallery Heinzel director, Maura Tighe, visited Pam Carter in her studio in Torrance, north of Glasgow, to talk about her work. The video release coincided with a major solo exhibition of her paintings at Gallery Heinzel featuring 40 paintings.

During this 20 minute video Pam talks about her life and inspiration as well as her hopes approaching such a major show. She explains her approach to painting and the stages she goes through to create her colourist interpretations of the Scottish landscape.
