A project I'm planning requires accurate mitered joints, so I decided to make a small, convenient table saw sled that's able to make both 90- and 45-degree cuts. The sled uses a plastic runner, made from an old cutting board, that's cut to fit in the miter slots of the top.

IMPORTANT! If you're looking to replicate this project, make sure that your table saw blade is parallel to the slots in the top and that the fence is also parallel to the blade. To do this, consult your table saw manual.
