Hey Happy Campers!!
Today's Episode is Part 2 of our 2019 camping trip to Grand Lake, Colorado. We are camped at the Green Ridge Campground, which is a National Forest campground located at the south end of Shadow Mountain Lake. This is an amazing area of Colorado, not only are you surrounded by spectacular mountain views but there are three lakes located here. Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake are connected via a small channel so you can boat on both lakes without having to take your boat out of the water! Lake Granby much larger than Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake combined is located just minutes south west of Shadow Mountain Lake. All Three lakes are open to boating and offer amazing fishing opportunities. In today's episode we share some of the issues we have been having this trip while boondocking and explain how we resolved each issue. We also do a little boating and hopefully from the video you can tell how perfect of a mountain setting these lakes are in!! We also go over the much to our surprise how difficult it was to find boat parts in the Grand County area.
