One of our family traditions on Christmas Eve is watching yearbook videos I make for my family. I am always looking for the right songs to play over our pictures from that year, so when I first heard Todd Wright sing "I Love My Dog" at a concert in late November, I knew it was perfect for my oldest daughter, because she loves her dog "Harvard" more than she does most people.
A couple of weeks before Christmas, her boyfriend asked me for her hand in marriage, and after agreeing, we discussed how he would propose.
