With spring on the way, I'm diving into seed starting season, with my peppers already up and going and a lineup of tomatoes and other warm-season crops waiting for their turn in a couple of weeks. I've always struggled with keeping my ever-growing collection of seeds organized until I discovered this system that's both simple and effective. I use what are technically photo storage boxes, but in the gardening world, they've become my "seed suitcases." Available at any craft store or online, these boxes are affordable, stackable, and transparent, making it easy to see what's inside.

In my garden, seeds are sorted into categories: flowers, vegetables, warm season, and cool season, each with their own suitcase. Inside these suitcases, individual boxes are labeled by variety, ensuring every seed packet has its place. It's an ideal solution for any gardener looking to streamline their seed starting process, making it easier to keep track of what you have and ensuring everything is fresh and ready for planting season.
