GTA V has a pretty weird physics engine, especially when it comes to driving mechanics. In this video guide (and maybe series) I'll be explaining and teaching you about what they are, and how you can use them yourself.

The brakeboost and short-shift mechanics shown in this video have been known about in the GTA Online Racing and GTA V Speedrunning communities for awhile now, but a really good guide didn't exist for brakeboosting, and I wanted to make an updated one for short shifting. These mechanics can be used in both online and single-player.

If you have any further questions on how to make use of the Shortshifting or Brakeboosting in GTA Online or Singleplayer, ask here on youtube or any of my links below - or let me know if you have another weird thing in GTA you think I should look into.
