Meet Kari! She is the Associate Director of Communications at Scout Lab, a purpose-driven creative and communications agency. In today's episode, Kari shares about her struggle to land a role upon graduation, navigating a job and company that did not align with her, and finding her voice and purpose within her current role and company.

Outside of her 9-5, Kari is a published writer on topics including LGBTQ+ representation and communications strategy and an advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence. She also serves as a mentor with StartOut, advising LGBTQ+ startup founders on their communications and marketing.
