Hebrews 12:1-2 reminds believers that this life can be tiring, but we have the blessing of those who went before us and are now cheering us on in this race. As we keep our eyes on the one who ran the perfect race, Jesus Christ, our lives become a testimony to those around us. Shama reminded students that at TKA they have the great privilege of having a large cloud of witnesses who are cheering them on and pushing them toward the goal found in Jesus. The hope and prayer is that one day they would return to TKA after many years and tell their teachers, “I might waver and stumble at times, but I’m still running with Jesus.”
