So it's been a while since I have ridden the DIrksen trails... wow! I remembered them a grueling experience, but this time it was amazing. The Cliff Trail is one of the longer sections coming in a 2 miles. The initial descent is fantastic. I'm not super comfortable with taking drops (as you'll see), but many of these little ones came super natural and we a blast to hit. Already trying to figure out when I can get back out there.

Dirksen park is official located between North Pekin and Pekin, IL. It's one of the older mountain bike trail systems in the area and was one of the first that I cut my teeth on many years ago. There are skinny and drops of varying sizes scattered throughout. Lots of man made features to keep your ride interesting.

Peoria Illinois is home to 80 miles of mountain bike trails. These trails have been created and maintained by the Peoria Mountain Bike Association (PAMBA) and they continue to add to them.
