Converting my 2020 Mini Cooper JCW Union Jack tail lights to the tinted Union Jack tail lights was definitely a "worth it" modification to the Cooper platform, since it completely transformed the look of the tail section of the Mini.

And for those of you who are wondering - yes, my model Mini Cooper came with a set of the standard red Union Jack tail lights. But regardless, these tail lights are plug and play that require no coding.

As I mentioned in the video, not all of the after market Union Jack tail lights are created equal, many of them use really bad manufacturing processes which can cause leaks or condensation in the lights themselves.

Some of the Union Jack tail light copies on the market use very low quality lens which can break easily or don't look as good as the OEM tail lights do.

As a complementary piece, you'll definitely want to pick up a set of the rear tinted smoke fog lights because it makes the tail come together nicely. And for additional flavor make sure to get the tinted smoke wheel arch lights!
