I just received the Chinese Clone of the mcHF RS-918 radio last Friday while on my canoe trip to White Otter and just had a chance to play the last few days. It has it's obvious glitches and issues not counting the long time between emails and the extremely long wait blamed on shortage of parts. None the less it arrived with no operating instructions. I had to make quite a few adjustments to the power level settings and frequency offset for cw to be bang on to W1AW.
I will make some more video as time allows.
I want to feel I need to congratulate the original minds behind this project Chris and Clint for without them this project (not product) would not exist.

I enjoy all aspects of the outdoors, be it hiking, biking, hunting, fishing or canoeing.
Camping and survival are two skills I continually try and work on and stay ready and practiced
In the event these lifesaving skills are required.
I have had many teachers in my life and appreciate all that they have taught me, and I try to do the same thing.
Amateur radio is also one of my hobbies and past time, and it as well has taught me lots and has helped me meet people around the world.
Family is of course the most important aspect of my life and has brought me the most enjoyable memories in life.
