Only 27.6% of the global tech workforce is women, a statistic that is decreasing by at least 1% every year. This means that the majority of the tech (phones, software, trackers, etc) available in the market is developed around the body, behaviour, and requirements of men.

Our Ambassador, Dora identified one cause of this problem: a lack of access or intent to educate women in STEM. So she founded imagiLabs. imagiLabs is an organisation building products to make tech more accessible and engaging for girls. The organisation has created products that introduce them to coding at a young age as a form of self-expression and communication.

With mobile games, pixel art, and community interaction, imagiLabs has created an interactive space where children and teenagers can code with their peers and integrate tech into their daily life.

We can’t wait for a gender-inclusive tech evolution, can you?
