This is the story of a little Valentines-inspired photoshoot I did with all my Valentines.

Photography is an area of art that I really want to expand further into. I love the idea of creating a set and coming up with unique outfits, bringing a mood board or a 2D drawing into the real world. It’s such a great space to have your concepts and ideas realized.
I didn’t really have a reason to do this photoshoot except for the sake of making art. And MAKING is reason enough.

My inspo for this shoot was simply the aesthetic of Valentine's Day. I know lots of people have a love-hate relationship with this holiday, and I wanted to give that a nod in this shoot, so I combined what some may see as the epitome of greasy fast food with a fancy setting. But overall the objective was to just see what happened and let the art dictate its own outcome along the way.

I really prepared for this photoshoot by creating a mood board, thrifting props and clothes, buying food and a cake that was destroyed for the sake of photos, and I even made a playlist that captured the vibe I was going for.
