Paul: It’s no secret how much I love Moonspruce as a tonewood, and when it’s paired with the right back and sides in the hands of a skilled builder, it’s always a recipe for success. This is the first of Ryan Gerber’s guitars I’ve had the chance to see, and I’m very impressed. The string energy is fantastic, and the sound is enveloping, with plenty of low mid growl that was a delightful surprise

Logan: I've been waiting eagerly to play one of Ryan's guitars for years--and my expectations were cleanly exceeded right out the gate. This RL15.5 is gorgeous in every sense of the word. This rosette! Exquisitely carved in a sharp geometric motif that perfectly offsets the smooth curves elsewhere in the build. The voice is similarly crisp and smooth in equal measure, with a midrange bump with that rare blooming quality, and some serious treble overtones to boot.
