Enyo the jill ferret hunting a rabbit.

As there were horses nearby, I made the extra effort to make sure Enyo entered the hole as it would only take her a few seconds to scurry into the nearby field and out of my reach. I had done prior checks to ensure there were no holes leading into the neighboring field, I didn't want her to wander into a tricky situation.

These rabbits are collected for food, for my ferrets and people. This is a free range meat, that has lived a free life. These rabbits will be controlled even without me. By taking them myself, the meat is used. Ferreting is an environmentally friendly method of harvesting free range meat.
