Teachers' Day is a day to express gratitude to teachers who play a significant role in the lives of every student. We all have teachers who have inspired us and helped shape our lives.

Teachers' Day is celebrated on September 5 every year.

It is observed on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Dr Radhakrishnan had said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 is observed as Teachers' Day." The day has been observed as Teachers' Day in India since 1962.

"If a country is to be corruption-free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother, and the teacher." - Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

Dear teacher, without your guidance and wisdom, I wouldn’t be where I am right now! Thank you and Happy Teachers' Day !
