for a little context about the story:
as teens, kojiro had a crush on kaoru but he didn't really pick up on it (lol) bc he was interested in adam, so kojiro challenged him to a beef twice and lost both times (probs bc he didn't have that good luck kiss ;w;) . later as adults kojiro and adam have a rematch!! so the story kinda shifts between past and present :3
