As a special bonus at the conclusion of our Standing on Sacred Ground online film festival during the Covid-19 shelter-in-place global shutdown, we streamed our award-winning feature film, In the Light of Reverence, in celebration of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the film's release.

Robert Redford called the 2001 film "a wake-up call for everyone who cares about the environment and human rights."

On Friday, May 22, Director Christopher "Toby" McLeod hosted a live interactive Zoom conversation with Co-Producer Malinda Maynor Lowery (Lumbee), Writer Jessica Abbe, Cinematographer and Editor Will Parrinello and Cinematographer Andy Black. Narrator Tantoo Cardinal (Métis) joined the lively conversation, which was weirdly and briefly zoom-bombed!

Check out the conversation and hear the backstory of ten years of filmmaking, humorous anecdotes, how and why our distribution campaign is still thriving after 20 years, and more.

You can stream In the Light of Reverence for a modest rental fee that supports our ongoing educational work here: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/inthelight...

Schools and universities can purchase the film from Bullfrog Films here: http://www.bullfrogfilms.com/catalog/...
