This past weekend we took a trip to Yaak, MT to check out the falls. We were driving from Spokane and passed through the Bonners Ferry, ID area and had to make a pit stop at the Moyie River Canyon Bridge which is just east of Bonners Ferry. This bridge is massive at a height of 464 ft and spans a length of 1,220 feet. It is a must see stop on the way to the falls.
Next, on to Yaak River Falls! We love this spot and try to make it over there as often as possible. It's nice to see all four seasons there as the scenery is everchanging. On this trip, the water is really churning and the level is way above what we've seen in the past couple of years. This area has some of the oldest exposed rock in the world due to shifting plates over time and the area is gorgeous.
Last up, we had to stop outside of LIbby, MT on the way home to get that gorgeous sunset shot. That mountain range is so pretty in the distance.
