"Everytime You Go Away" is a song originally written and composed by Daryl Hall. It was first recorded in 1980 by the American duo Hall & Oates but was not released as a single. The song became an international hit when covered by English singer Paul Young in 1985.

"Blue Room" recorded this cover featuring female vocals by Linda Hall.
P.S. I've corrected an erroneous error and credited Linda Hall for her beautiful vocal rendition.

"Blue Room" is better known for recording tracks for John Hughes' films:
"I'm Afraid" from "Ferris Bueller" and "Cry Like This" from "Some Kind Of Wonderful".

This is a unique version with an extended one and a half minute instrumental intro.
Enjoy!

Everytime you go away
You take a piece of me with you
Everytime you go away
You take a piece of me with you

oooh

Go on and go free
Maybe you're too close to see me
Can feel your body move, yeah
Does it mean that much to me?

Can't go on, singing the same theme
Can't you see we've got everything
Even though, even though, even though yeah

Everytime you go away
You take a piece of me with you
Everytime you go away
You take a piece of me with you

oooh

Can't go on, singing the same theme
Can't you see we've got everything
Even though, even though, even though yeah

Everytime you go away
You take a piece of me
Take a piece of me with you
