The video named "2nd Year Chinese Speaking and Listening Class" was filmed at the University of Iowa, where I focused on developing the interpersonal and listening skills of my second year Chinese students. I used the text Integrated Chinese (Level 2, 2nd Edition). The class met an hour daily and emphasized four components to foster language development: vocabulary review, drills and discussion of unfamiliar sentence patterns, text readings, and a real-life situated communicative task that focused on these new sentence patterns.
