We recently made a video regarding our updated dodge and burn method in Infinite Retouch! We call it “Infinite Curves”. You can see that video here:

I was amazed at how accurate it was and I we were asked what makes it different and how it was made. I wanted to take some time to make this video that also goes over the differences between other methods of dodge and burn too!

The nerd in me wanted to make it and I hope you like it too! The team took multiples file from various cameras and used the images to create a set of curves that is as accurate as can be across a multitude of images. Even more, Infinite Retouch automatically takes into account the color profile of the image so no matter what you edit, the curves produced from Infinite Retouch will fit perfectly.

Keep in mind that your results will vary based on different lighting conditions, colors, and processor used for your raw files, but this is why we supply multiple options as no one tool will fix everything :).
