Ken & Toni goes beach camping with friends in Primo White Sand Beach Resort in Baganga, Davao Oriental.

We started in Davao City and left with Ken's college buddy at 4AM and then dropped by Tagum City to pick up Toni's work friend who decided to ride his blue Yamaha bike all the way to our destination. Our convoy drove to Baganga, Davao Oriental through Nabunturan and we arrived in Primo White Sand Beach Resort at around 8:30AM and immediately pitched our tent and hammocks and cooked ourselves a big brunch.

Some of the highlights of this trip were the extreme chilling on a Saturday afternoon on our tent and hammocks and the feast that we cooked up for ourselves for dinner - shrimps in butter and garlic, malasugue kinilaw, and grilled quarter chicken and pork belly.

This was just an overnight trip and we all had to drive back to Davao City on Palm Sunday. We had to make the decision on which route to take, whether to take the long route via Mati or back to the shorter route how we got here. We decided to take the shorter route so we can enjoy the long drive back to Davao City with no pressure of beating the sundown. We stopped by the Aliwagwag Falls in Cateel and we took our sweet time for lunch in Yat'z Kapehan somewhere in Compostela Valley where we ordered some fried frogs, bihon, and native chicken tinola.

At the end of the trip, we were still craving for so much more of Davao Oriental. We promised to come back for another camping and road trip adventure and maybe take the long but exciting road through the east coast next time.
