In this video I made an edit of the classic 1939 film, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, starring James Stewart and Jean Arthur. Harry Carey, H.B. Warner, and Claude Rains also have supporting roles. It is another great example of Frank Capra's work as a director.

Stewart brilliantly portrays Jefferson Smith, a lone idealist rising up against a giant system that tries to stop him at every turn.
