plot: In the 14th century, Italy is the grip of the Black Death. A group of young Florentines (Hayden Christensen, Mischa Barton) seeks refuge in the countryside while the plague ravages the city. To pass the time, the refugees regale one another with fantastic tales of romance and adventure.
