ගන්කන්ද මධ්‍ය විද්‍යාලයීය කලා අංශය සාඩම්බරයෙන් ඉදිරිපත් කරන "පැහැනද ප්‍රතිභා" වාර්ෂික සෞන්දර්යාත්මක චාරිකාවේ තවත් අභිමානනීය පියවරකි. සාම්ප්‍රදායික ප්‍රාසංගික සීමා අතික්‍රමණය කරමින් විවිධ තේමාවන් ඔස්සේ මෙතෙක් පැමිණි ගමනේ "වරංගනා 2023" න් නිරූපණය වන්නේ ස්ත්‍රීත්වය හා බැඳුනු විවිධ පැතිකඩ පිළිබඳ සෞන්දර්යාත්මක පෙළහරකි. මසැසින් ඇදගන්නා රූප, හඬ, වර්ණ මනසින් ද ග්‍රහණය කොට ආනන්දයෙන් ප්‍රඥාව කරා ප්‍රසාරණය කරන්නා වූ මෙම වැඩසටහනේ ප්‍රේක්ෂක කොටස්කරුවකු වි ගන්කන්දීය දරුවන්ගේ ප්‍රජානන ආවේදන හා මනෝචාලක කුසලතා පරාසයන් හඳුනාගැනීමට සැමට ආරාධනා.
