New Holland TX62 driven by Nick Baker of Wishay Farm, Trinity, mid Devon.
The moisture of the oats were 13% and well within the range for harvesting. The organic oats will go to be milled for porridge oats or biscuits. The variety was Merlin spring oats.
The 10 acres produced 19.9 tonnes and this was very good for an organic oat crop.
