Setting up your snowboard stance is quite a thing... The options are seemingly infinite, and there are so many opinions on this subject.
As always, following the biomechanics of your own body and basic physics will get you much closer to a FUNCTIONAL stance for your riding style than any trend, hype or general opinion.
Here's a guideline on how your stance width and your binding angles are connected and together create what I would call the PERCEIVED stance width.
