I will say of the Lord, He is my God, my refuge, my fortress, and I will trust in him.
For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the perverse plague.
He will cover you with his feathers, and you will trust under his wings. his truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You will not be afraid of the terror of the night or the arrow that flies by day.
Neither the plague that walks in the darkness, nor the death that ravages at noon.
A thousand will fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come to you.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.
For you, O Lord, are my refuge. In the Most High thou hast made thy dwelling.
No harm will come to you, no plague will come to your tent.
For he will give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They will support you in their hands, so that you will not stumble with your foot in stone.
Thou shalt tread the lion and the snake; Thou shalt tread down the lion's son and the serpent.
Because he loved me so dearly, I will deliver him also; I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
