This lifhak is useful to all owners of cars with a drum brake, especially if the brake drum is made of aluminum alloy, as it is with such drums that in due course there are difficulties with their removal. And the whole point is that the aluminum drum is mounted on a steel (iron) hub (semiaxis) - two different metals strongly pressed against each other, eventually cause the process of diffusion welding among themselves, which prevents the free removal of the drum with time. To prevent this from happening during the operation of the car, one simple action should be done, shown in the video - lifhak, which stops the diffusion welding of the drum and the hub - the lubrication of the flange with a grease, for example, such as Lithol-24. It is enough to do this one single time and you can forget about the problem of removing the brake drum! Brakes will not suffer in any way, if you do not apply too much lubricant and not there.
