J35XS Draken in War Thunder is an interesting fighter at 10.7

J35XS overall feels pretty confident in flight characteristics department. It has great dogfighting capabilities with the ability to drastically reduce its speed and overshoot opponents as any delta fighter.

The problems start when you're at low speed in a fight. Because if you find yourself in this position - you're pretty much boned.

Singular 30mm cannon located on the right side of the aircraft does not help with getting snap-shots on targets. Also the fact that Swedish 30mm does not have tracers doesn't help either. In my personal experience, although I've flown this particular plane extensively, I missed a lot of "easy" shots just because of position of the cannon and absence of tracers. Major skill issue, I know.

J35XS can carry only 12 flares, which is okay-ish amount if you bring unguided rocket pods to use them as makeshift flares in head-on engagements with Su-25s and A-10s. And they are definitely worth bringing if you're in 11.3 match. Just be conscious about the added weight of those pods.

6 AIM-9Js do the job quite fine standalone, but J35XS has IRST capability which allows to sling 9Js at their gimbal limit greatly increasing their deadlines.

Overall I would recommend this plane for people who are experienced in War Thunder and know how to deal with low amount of countermeasures paired with delta-wing design.

TLDR; The plane is good, but definitely more complicated

Disclaimer: I bought J35XS with my own money
