Reel Heroes is a short film created to uncover the history and the working lives of our cinema projectionists of the golden years in Liverpool - Narrated by Margi Clarke.
The projectionist was the reel showman. His job was to ensure he put on a good show. He was also responsible for a whole heap of other jobs in the cinema. From changing light bulbs, fixing boilers, making up the posters in the cinema to advertise the films. A projectionist was a good man to have around he could do anything.
