Woosung Jung is an artist in residence at Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago (KPAC). He has a Master of the Daegeum (bamboo flute) and is passionate about educating students all around the world about Korean music. He is a Director of Instrumental Music at KPAC.

Danso is an end-blown vertical bamboo flute used in Korean folk music. “Dan” means "short" and is used to refer to the flute.

San Diego Korean Pungmul Institute performed at the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park as a part of the spring concert series presented by the Center for World Music.
