Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Greg Howe Licks From 1988. It's been about four years since the last time I featured Greg Howe on the LNL channel, so I felt it was finally time to hit some more of his music, and this time we're hitting something elusive pulled from a classic G.I.T. clinic back in 1988 - so let's dive in!

This lesson revolves around "finger rolling" arpeggios, and while this topic/technique is rarely discussed, I did write a lesson for Premier Guitar Magazine back in 2015 that focused on this concept. So, after working with this lesson, be sure to search the PG website to find my nine year-old lesson on this subject for more information. Do a search for "Roll The Bones" or my name and you'll find it.

Anyway, once the basic ideas are presented/demonstrated, you'll find we're finger rolling through basic major and minor arpeggios at the start, but things are kicked up several notches by including expanded maj9 and 11add9 string skipped & finger rolled arpeggios in the mix.

Needless to say, if you're a Greg Howe fan, a shred guitarist, a player looking to explore an important topic that is rarely discussed, someone wanting to add some slick licks to the bag of tricks, or maybe you're just curious what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you! Give this episode a view, leave some comments/feedback, and please subscribe to Late Night Lessons - THANK YOU!
