The introduction of Community Development Forums (CDFs) has played a transformative role in driving significant change across Sri Lankan tea plantations.
​​In 2017, CDFs emerged as an inclusive platform, due to a partnership between Chrysalis, CARE UK, and Twining’s Sourced with Care Programme. These platforms unite diverse stakeholders, including estate workers, management, service providers, youth, and CSO representatives and address the most pressing issues faced by the community. ​​
