About the Speaker:

Salman Akram Raja has been practicing law since 1992 and, at present, is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He obtained LL.M degree from Harvard Law School and School of Oriental And African Studies, University of London and did B.A from Cambridge University. He is an acknowledged leader amongst dispute resolution, practitioners specializing in corporate, taxation, commercial banking and competition matters. Mr. Raja has also extensive experience in constitutional and administrative law matters and has appeared in recent years in some of the high profile cases before the Supreme Court of Pakistan that have involved questions of interpretation of the Constitution of Pakistan. Mr. Raja has been a Visiting Lecturer in Company and Commercial Law at the Law School of Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan’s premier university. His area of expertise in training is Constitutional Law.
