In this video, we tackle serious erosion and drainage problems around a newly installed concrete patio. The homeowner is facing issues with mud and washout due to ineffective drainage systems and improper installation of catch basins. We’ll show how we plan to remove the old, clogged system and replace it with a series of properly installed catch basins and drainage pipes. Our solution includes shaping the landscape to direct water away from the patio, installing new catch basins around the slab, and addressing water flow from downspouts. We also discuss additional measures like seeding the area to stabilize soil in order to prevent future erosion.
