BEST PLACES TO HIKE IN GEORGIA - If you are looking for a more difficult 8.2 mile hike in Georgia, the Gahuti Trail at Fort Mountain is a great trail to explore.

During our recent visit in July, we saw absolutely no one on this trail which was a nice break from more popular places with the amount of foot traffic on the weekends.

This trail provides great scenic views and waterfalls along the way. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as it can be scarce at during warmer months.

Parking at Fort Mountain is $5 and Georgia State Park annual passes start at $50
