After watching a lot of youtube videos on fishing for Trout in Donner Lake, I decided to give it a try.

I used the Panther Martin spinner, Kastmaster spoon, jigs, and used worms.

I tried to fish early in the morning and later in the after noon.

After 4-6 hours of fishing, I ended up catching nothing. I got to talking to a local and he was telling me that fishing at Donner Lake in the winter is really slow and he suggested that I tried some near by lakes.

I may have to try again in the summer to see if things are different.
